Going with our Ocean Journey theme.....we took the kiddos to Red Lobster. It turned out to be way more fun than we had anticipated! While we sampled our fish (I really do not like fish so I don't cook it very often) I found out which kiddos like fish and which do not. But the fun came in the end when our waitress asked us if we wanted to touch a lobster! And so THEY did!

Our lovely waitress was wonderful and full on knowledge! The most amazing thing we learned.....a lobster grows only about an inch per year....so this lobster was about 14 years old! I sort of feel guilty for wanting to eat them!
She even let the kids touch them to find out how they feel!
We were taught how to see if they were male or female and if they were right or left handed!
All in all it was a very fun trip to Red Lobster and the kids actually learned quite a bit from it!
