Hey all.....I have a friend who is giving away 10 Free Ebooks!!!!  Let me know what you think about them in the comment section below!!!!  Check them out here!

Today we learned about complementary colors!  The kiddos loved this project!!!

We got our idea here! Have fun and have fun learning!!!

Have you ever said, "Oh we will do that someday!"?  Well we decided it was time for a "SomeDay" in our home.  We dropped everything, including school, and had the kiddos get ready.  They had no idea where we were going but they knew it was a SomeDay in our house!  We drove for about an hour and arrived at a restaurant they love!  Casa Bonita.  There isn't anything special about their food but the cliff divers.....the kids love them!  Here are some picture of our fun!
Watching the show!  Little J could understand when the divers jumped....where they went!

The Arcade!

Watching from behind the waterfall!

Watching a puppet show.....it was a bit scary!

The Treasure Room!

How do you spend your "SomeDays"?  Do you even have somedays?  We try to do them every now and then so they remain special.  My children still cannot believe that Papa took off work.....just for them!  Create special memories today.  They do not have to be expensive....just special!
For as long as I have wanted land, I have wanted chickens.  There is just something about super fresh eggs!  Well my husband came home a few weeks back and said that I needed to visit our local Ace store because they had baby chicks!  So we went, and went back and then shopped other stores.  My kids were just as convinced they needed them too as I was!  I have never had chicken and really didn't know the first thing about them!  So I told the kids that if they really wanted to do this chicken thing...they would have to first get to know everything they could about them!  In the process, I too was absorbing everything I could!  After we learned everything we could....we finally caved and brought the first 5 chickens home!

Welcome to the Park Family.....we are still working on names!  I think I have convinced the family to go with chocolate names!

We got two types so far but will have three before we are all done!  We even got Easter Eggers!  They lay green and blue pastel eggs on a normal basis and can even lay brown, white and pink ones too!

One of the most helpful sites that I found was My Pet Chicken!!!!

We have also decided to make this a business for the kiddos!  They have to figure out the money part and how to advertise the eggs!  Since we will not have eggs for about 5 months...I haven't pushed this too much however, just when school starts up again, it will be time!

I hope you follow us on our adventures of rasing chickens!
